STUDENTS:

The weather held off to the north last night as the Lady Warriors took 5th place in Sectional 31 at Princeton last night. Emma Telligman was the lone sectional Champion for the Lady Warrior in high jump. Her 5'2" mark was enough not only to advance, but to be crown champion of high jump. "I was very proud of both of our high jumpers today, Hayden Coats was so close to a PR, jumping for 5'2" tonight, but just couldn't quite make it, then being edged out by a scratch to get 4th. At this time the other sectional results are not posted, so hoping for a callback to Regional for Hayden. Emma Got her 5'1" mark before she had to run in 3200m Relay, then came back missed the mark twice, cleared 5'2" on the third attempt after some adjustment. Cannot say enough about these two kids. They have made each other better over the course of the season. Looking forward to future endeavors."

We had several girls under the weather tonight, or out with injuries suffered within the last week.

We had to move some girls around and they did a fantastic job.

The two seniors of the bunch, Cabella Lemberg, and Rorri Bottum ran their last official High School races tonight but will be going on to run collegiately next season for the Blue and Gold of Vincennes University. "I wish these girls well in everything that they do. They have been great to coach and a joy to be around the last few years. They have provided support for teammates and worked hard for their success."

It has been an incredible year. I think the girls have grown tremendously as athletes and people over the course of the last few months. We have quite a few just out of automatic regional qualifications, so hoping for good news by morning.

A reminder to all students:  You must have parent permission to leave early even if you are 18 years old.

When you know ahead of time that you need to leave early, your parents should write a note giving their permission for you to leave early.  When you arrive at school, get the parent note signed by an administrator.  That parent note is your pass out of class and is to be shown/given to an adult on duty in the office.  Then you will sign out in the office before you leave.

Remember if you come to school late you sign in at the mainoffice and when you leave early you sign out at the main office.  Also remember to sign your first and last name on the sign in/out book. WHEN YOU EXIT, USE THE FRONT DOOR.
